For each operator: the OCC operator number, company name, current status, mailing and office address, phone number, and the contact person the operator registered with the Commission. Oklahoma is the only state in this directory that publishes a named contact, which makes it the easiest place to reach a human. The Commission does not publish email addresses; its guidance is to call the operator and ask. When you call, ask for owner relations or the division order department by name.
OPEN means the operator's registration with the Corporation Commission is current. CLOSED usually means the company stopped operating, was sold, merged, or let its filing lapse. Most of the 13,000 records here are closed companies, which is exactly what you need when tracing an old check stub or a legacy well.
Wells change hands constantly, and the company paying today may be several sales removed from the name you remember. Search the old name here with the active filter turned off, then check the well itself in Oklahoma Corporation Commission records to see who operates it now.
